Taiwan faces complex disasters along with the hidden conflict. When large-scale disasters trigger immediate healthcare needs, they will strictly test the response capacity of the government and healthcare institutions.
 
In recent years, Taiwan has experienced various disasters, resulting in dozens to hundreds of casualties. Despite the emergency medical network operating for over 20 years and has been effective in multiple aspects. The required capacity for emergency response in these incidents exceeds the local healthcare system's capacity, requiring assistance from the central and local governments.
