The Toyama Prefecture in Japan is renowned for its pharmaceutical industry, boasting the highest pharmaceutical production value in Japan. On March 8th, the Toyama Pharmaceutical Association (TPA) was invited by Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry and Technology Development Center (PITDC) to visit Taiwan as its first post-pandemic visit destination. The visit marked the first official meeting between TPA and PITDC, aiming to strengthen relations and explore business opportunities between Japanese and Taiwanese pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Muh-Hwan Su (蘇慕寰), Chairman of PITDC, and Mr. Yasunobu Otsuga (大津賀保信), representative of TPA, expressed their hope to pave the way for improved interactions and collaborations in the future.
