#Globalbio team is heading to BIO International Convention, the biggest annual event in the biopharm world, from June 3-6 in 2024! 

On the eve of BIO 2024, the Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB) hosted the prelude to the BIO2024, Taiwan Biotech Forum, at the Westin San Diego, themed "Navigating the Next Generation of Precision Medicine." DCB Chairman Dr. Shiing-jer Twu highlighted DCB's 40-year mission to connect Taiwan's biotech industry with the global value chain.

Event Highlights:

Dr. Taby Ahsan, VP of Cell and Gene Therapy Operations at City of Hope, shared insights on cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

Dr. Kyle Kai-How Farh, VP at Illumina AI Lab, discussed how AI accelerates drug development and advances precision health.

Prof. Yun Yen, Emeritus President and Chair Professor of Taipei Medical University, and Dr. Sherry Ku, Founder and President of Kuder Consulting Inc., talked about cross-disciplinary talent cultivation and successful drug development.

Also joining are Dr. Yueh-Ping Liu from Taiwan's MOHW and Deputy Director-General Pei-Li Chen from the MOEA, enhancing US-Taiwan collaboration.
