Exciting news in the antibody world! Dr. Tse Wen Chang, Taiwan's antibody pioneer, invented Xolair (#omalizumab) which was the first anti-IgE antibody. FDA is expected to review its sBLA submitted by Roche for food allergy by Q1 2024. If approved, it'll be the first therapy to tackle accidental allergic food reactions including #anaphylaxis. Cheers to Dr. Chang, the "Father of Taiwanese Antibodies"!
