From March 4 to 7, the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC) led nine top Taiwanese smart healthcare companies to the HIMSS 2025 Global Health Conference in the U.S.

The delegation set up the Taiwan Pavilion and hosted the Taiwanese Smart Healthcare Startup Demo Day, highlighting Taiwan’s advancements in telemedicine, smart care, medical imaging, and digital health.

Strengthening Global Collaborations

The Taiwan Pavilion opening welcomed Mitch Icenhower, Chief Relationship Officer of HIMSS and Simon Lin, VP & Managing Director of APAC at HIMSS Simon Lin, emphasizing the potential for deeper Taiwan-U.S. partnerships.

Meanwhile, Accelerator Guardian Corp. teamed up with QUAY Accelerator to co-host the Taiwanese Smart Healthcare Startup Demo Day, where U.S. healthcare experts provided real-time feedback on Taiwanese companies’ technology, business models, and market potential, helping them better navigate the U.S. market and attract international investors.
