CellChem Pharmaceuticals Inc. was formed in 2010, envisioned with becoming a global player in pharmaceuticals and developing into a one-stop solution in the segment of Rx, over-the-counters (OTCs), and nutraceutical products. CellChem acquired intellectual property (IP) from Pharmetics, formerly the largest OTC and vitamin manufacturer in Canada. CellChem’s acquisition of Pharmetics gave it a pool of close to 500 Health Canada approved products. CellChem has since partnered with the leading global generic company to market its products. CellChem currently exports to some global markets and aims to increase exports to even broader global markets.

Some of the major Canadian retail outlets that sell CellChem products are Jean Coutu, London Drugs, McKesson, Pharmasave, Rexall, and Shoppers Drug Mart. CellChem’s portfolio of core products include prescriptions (Rx), nutraceuticals, weight management, over the counters (OTCs), probiotics, analgesics, laxatives, antiacids, decongestants, muscle relaxants, dietary supplements, and much more. CellChem also offers a range of products for cough and cold alleviation, making it the largest generic manufacturer of Hot Lemon in Canada, whose national brand equivalent is Theraflu or NeoCitran, which are manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline/GSK and Novartis, respectively). CellChem’s portfolio of natural health products provide human cells with the vital nutrients they need to keep them healthy while accelerating their treatment and healing.
